Nice was nice. After taking a two hour drive from Frejus/St. Raphael into the town of Nice,my host mom and I finally arrived; and boy did it feel good to walk around and soak in the sights. Having been an old Italian possession, the city had a sort-of French/Italian feel to it. The food in this city was delicious, and coupled with a nice Italian-style gelato= one happy Doug.
